Description
The aircraft manufacturer Airbus intends to hire 450 people by the end of 2012 for its two sites in France. The plant of Bougenais offers 200 vacancies (currenly 2200 employees) and 250 jobs are being created in Montoir-de-Bretagne (currently 2050 employees).
Airbus is looking for fitters, operators and technicians. It has been reported that the company faces difficulties recruiting the staff. According to the union FO, a young worker can start with a monthly salary of 1600 euro. The Employment public service is working on a "capability" programme to find temporary workers from other sectors that may be able to work in the aircraft industry.
