European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Young's Seafood ha announced that it is to close former Cumbrian Seafoods plants in Seaham and Whitehaven with the loss of 281 jobs. The firm has been in consultation with staff since January. The company has said that production from this site will shift to other operations within the group.
