Description

The Norwegian telecommunication company Telenor will reduce its workforce by over 200 employees in its several branches across Sweden.

The lay-offs are a part of the company's restructuring program undertaken in order to remain competitive in the market. The cutbacks will affect several locations: in Stockholm and Karlskrona 100 employees will be dismissed per location; 10 jobs will be lost in each of the offices in Malmö, Gothenburg and Umeå.

The exact timeline for the restructuring is yet to be announced.
