Description
The commercial court agreed to the take-over of Caddie, a manufacturer of supermarket trolleys, by the Altia Group. This will lead to 125 job cuts.
Caddie was placed in receivership, while losing 1 million Euros every month. The new management wants to keep the production units in France and Shangaï (China), but will sell a plant in Portugal (150 employees).
With 33 production units around the world, the Altia Group has a turn over about 430 million euro in 2011.
