Spanish broadband and telecommunications company Telefonica, which operates under the 02 name in Ireland, has announced 120 redundancies across the country.
The job losses are part of a restructuring plan to reduce costs and respond to what have been described as challenging market conditions. Redundancies are said to be realized through voluntary departures, for which the timeline is not yet known.
Telefonica employs 1,100 people in Ireland.
