Description
Spanish steel firm Celsa Atlantic, specialized in the manufacture of basic iron and steel and of ferro-alloys, has applied for a redundancy procedure affecting 352 employees. The plants of Vitoria and Urbina (Basque Country) will be also closed.
The unions of the plants thus far have announced several strikes. In the following days, the unions and the company representatives will meet to discuss the redundancy procedure conditions.
The timeline for the restructuring is yet to be announced.
