European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
American printing company RR Donnelley is to close its unit in Komárom at the beginning of July 2012, which results in the dismissal of 120 employees working in the plant. The authorities have been notified and the legal procedure has started. All employees will get the necessary severance payments.
Since 2005 RR Donnelley has been present in Hungary with two plants printing instructions for mobile phones; in Komárom it employs 120 staff and in Debrecen - 250. The closure of the site in Komárom will not affect the operation of the other site in Debrecen.
