Description
The company Ericsson, network equipment and mobile phone producer, will reduce its workforce by 95 in Mölndal in Sweden. This is due to a shift from hardware to software in order to improve efficiency within the company. The department affected is the Research and Development with support functions and the reason for the cutback is the ongoing shift in technology. Affected are the employees within the units R&D, sales and administration. Also the number of consultants will be reduced. The negotiations are expected to finish before summer vacations start.
