Description
Orifarm, a European supplier of pharmaceuticals and generic drugs, is to create up to 400 new jobs by the end of 2013. In order to adjust the cost level and strengthen the competitiveness Orifarm decided to move the production from Denmark and Germany (see related fact sheet) to the Czech site (Hostivice near Prague) which was opened on 24 April 2012.
It is reported that the company has decided to move to the Czech Republic because of its favourable location in the centre of Europe, the availability of skilled workforce and the lower labour costs.
