Description
Telecommunications company Talk Talk has announced plans to cut 218 jobs at its call centres in Northampton and Preston. The call centre in Northampton will be closed, while most jobs at Preston will be outsourced. The timeline for the restructuring has yet to be announced.
The company said the move follows a drop in call volumes and it hopes that employees would transfer to jobs in other parts of the country.
