European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The restructuring of the hospital Fondation Hôtel-Dieu du Creusot will result in the loss of 93 full-time positions and another 90 positions through natural attrition. The job cuts mainly concern the lower level staff, including nurses, secretaries or supporting staff.
The General Confederation of Labour aims for a solution whereby the layoffs would affect only employees close to the retirement age.
