Description
The Swedish manufacturer of biscuits, Göteborgskex will reduce their workforce in Kungälv by 70 employees. The factory in Kungälv has 410 employees andthe company has 600 employees in total. The job cuts are due to an increase in competition, and are part of a plan to improve efficiency.
Negotiations with the union representatives have begun. The company will provide the affected employees with employment guidance and assistance to find new jobs. The timeline for the restructuring is yet to be announced.
