Clothes retailer Peacocks has announced that it plans to cut 147 jobs at distribution depots in South Wales. The sites which will face job losses are Merthyr, Nantgarw and Ton Pentre. The company - bought by Edinburgh Woollen Mill out of administration earlier this year - announced that the loss of jobs was a result of the the loss of the company's international operations.
These job losses follow 3,100 redundancies that were made when the company went into administration.
