European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
U.S. Steel Kosice, the biggest steel company in Slovakia, is to dismiss about 300 blue collar workers. Dismissals will take place from July 2012 onwards. The restructuring is attributed to expected decline in steel production.
