Description

Mayr-Melnhof Packaging (MMP), a manufacturer of cereal boxes, has closed its Liverpool plant resulting in the loss of over 100 jobs. The closure was blamed on the company's declining international competitiveness. However, Unite the union blamed the company for lack of fairness and openess in the negotiations.
