Description
Kerry Foods has announced plans to close its Durham plant resulting in the loss of up to 350 jobs. The move is part of company efforts to remain competitive. The work will be transferred to other UK plans. Kerry Foods has entered a 90-day consultation period with the workforce while the union stated that the business case for the closure should be re-examined.
