Description
Swedish taxi company Tunaberg Taxi in Småland has given redundancy notices to all their 100 employees. The cuts are the result of a lost contract, which lead to the loss of transportation services for old or disabled people. Tunaberg Taxi lost this contract to another taxi transport service company.
The drivers have received information about the opportunity to get support from the Employment Security Fund, TSL. TSL offers help and coaching to redundant workers in order to find other jobs. According to media reports, redundant taxi drivers will be able to apply for work at other taxi transport services companies.
