Gruppo Sti, a company providing auxiliary services to the financial industry, announced its closure with the loss of 234 employees. Sti has offices in Bologna, Caorso (in the province of Piacenza), Genoa, Milan and Rome.
Sti provided consultancy concerning governance and control processes for the banking sector (for instance, Unicredit, Cariparma, Banca Popolare del Lazio). According to the company, the closure is due to the recent decline in profits.
