Description
French daily regional newspaper Le Parisien and its national issue Aujourd'hui en France have launched a voluntary redundancy plan entailing the loss of 50 jobs (out of 350). Over 40 employees may take voluntary redundancy, however the conditions have not been negotiated yet. Negotiations between the management and the employee representatives are ongoing.
The redundancies are part of a revival plan which involves the reorganization of the editorial teams into six divisions, the revamp of the layout for the paper version as well as a possible digital acquisition in 2012.
