Description

Revoz, a Slovenian car manufacturer owned by the French group Renault, is to cut its workforce by 331 people. As of 26 April 2012,some 132 employees on permanent and fixed-term contracts and another 199 temporary agencies workers will lose their job. This will reduce the number of employees from 2,400 to 2,069.

The redundancies are the consequence of a reduction of production levels. It is reported that this is due to a considerable reduction of sales in Europe in the first two months of 2012.

Revoz is fully owned by Renault. The plant in Slovenia produces car models such as Twingo, Renault Clio II and the Renault Wind Coupé Roadster.
