Revoz, a Slovenian car manufacturer owned by the French group Renault, is to cut its workforce by 331 people. As of 26 April 2012,some 132 employees on permanent and fixed-term contracts and another 199 temporary agencies workers will lose their job. This will reduce the number of employees from 2,400 to 2,069.
The redundancies are the consequence of a reduction of production levels. It is reported that this is due to a considerable reduction of sales in Europe in the first two months of 2012.Â
