Description
On 15 March 2012, American audio technologies company Dolby Laboratories announced plans to establish its new R&D centre in Wrocław and create 100 jobs. The centre is expected to be operational in September 2012. Mike Rockwell, representative of the company, revealed that the new centre will work on technologies for cell phones, tablets and players.
Dolby Laboratories plans to sign a contract with the Wrocław University of Technology (Politechnika Wrocławska).
Dolby Laboratories was founded in 1965. The company has over 30 units around the world and employs over 1,300 people.
