Description
On February 26th, manufacturer of helicopters and aviation parts PZL Åšwidnika announced plans to hire 250 people in 2012. Nicola Bianco, director of the company, revealed that planned growth of employment is a result of a new contract which was signed with the Ministry of National Defence (MON, MInisterstwo Obrony Narodowej). The company is to produce 5 helicopters and modernize another 14 for MON. The contract is worth 380 mln PLN. The company wants to employ engineers and managers.
PZL-ÅšWIDNIK SA was established in 1951. Since January 2010 the AgustaWestland company is the major shareholder of PZL-Åšwidnik.
