Description
CSC, an international IT-company, announced that around 300 employees of CSC Danmark will be made redundant. The reason is that the Danish telecommunication company TDC (former Telecom Denmark) has terminated its contract with CSC. The contract is taken over by Indian TCS. The redundancies will be implemented by the 1st of April.
According to the act on business transfer, the employees working on TDC contracts should in principle follow the contract to India. It is up to TCS how many employees they will hire, if any. If they will not hire all employees, it is up to TCS to dismiss the employee(s) concerned according to the provisions of the contract.
