Description
Gigasport, an Austrian sport products chain, has announced the cut of 280 jobs in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Over 200 jobs will be lost with the closure of all 11 stores in the Czech Republic by the end of June 2012. The move is blamed on shrinking sales since 2010.
The company has been operating its Czech stores since 1997.
