European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Swedish-Finnish telephone and broadband company Telia recruits 220 employees in the broadband support and customer service sector in Gothenburg, Norrköping, Karlstad, Luleå and Sundsvall. The recruitments are done in order to improve customer services and reduce waiting time.
It is reported that in autumn 2011 Telia had had problems with waiting time for customers. This is seen as the reason for making a major effort to radically improve their support services.
Some 38 employees will be recruited in Karlstad, 57 in Luleå, 38 in Norrköping, 57 in Sundsvall and 30 in Gothenburg.
