On 13 March 2012, provider of technology solutions for the energy industry FMC Technologies announced plans to hire between 100 and 150 engineers at the newly opened R&D center in Kraków by the end of 2012. Hiring will start in April 2012. The company is looking for experienced specialists as well as graduates.
The company has invested in Kraków due to plans of gas production from slates in Poland.
FMC Technologies, headquartered in Houston, provides technological systems and products for the oil and gas industry. The company has 27 production facilities in 16 countries and employs approx. 14,500 people.
