Description
Ineos ChlorVinyls Belgium, part of the multinational Lausanne-headquartered chemicals group Ineos, announced the decision to cut 117 jobs. The cuts will be implemented over the next two years.
According to the management, the company needs to adapt its business model to stay active and competitive. It is reported that the company declared that the cuts are necessary now to preserve jobs in the future. The Renault procedure was launched to discuss every aspect of the internal restructuring with the unions.
Ineos currently employs 667 people at its plant in Belgium.
