Description
Eniro Sentraali, a provider of contact center and phone directory services, has announced that it will lay off 96 employees from three units. The company has concluded negotiations on the cuts.
Eniro Sentraali will completely close the units in Joensuu and Pori and scale down operations in Kajaani. Up to 30 employees may be given jobs in other units in Kajaani, Helsinki and Suomussalmi. The company notes that the demand for telephone directory services has declined.
Before the start of the trade union negotiations, a total of 121 jobs were under risk of being eliminated or made part-time positions.
