European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Billa, a supermarket chain owned by the German retail group Rewe, announced the intention to hire 500 people in 2012 as result of an investment of 20-25 million euros for the opening of 10 new stores.
Billa opened its first store in Romania in Bucharest in 1999.
