Description
AU Optronics, a Taiwanese LCD panel manufacturer, has announced its intention to offshore its service centre with 150 employees from Brno in the Czech Republic to Trencin in Slovakia. The move to Slovakia, where the company has a new plant, is motivated by the wish to improve coordination and the customer service for AU Optronics Slovakia.
AU Optronics has reassured that it will keep producing in the Czech Republic.
A timeline for the move has yet to be given.
