European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The textile group Devanlay is recruiting 200 employees by the end of 2013 to increase the production of wearing under the brand Lacoste. A recruitment program was launched in February.
It is reported that with its recruitment plan, Devanlay wants to increase demand and strengthen its industrial base. Devanlay claims that it is difficult to find qualified personnel for its activities and will therefore double its training budget, bringing it to 3 % of its payroll in 2012. Additionally, it wants to develop apprenticeships and partnerships with the training centre and the employment public service ("Pôle Emploi").
Devanlay is one licensed clothing maker and distributer of Lacoste apparel wear. The company has eight manufacturing units in France and employs just over 1,000 employees in several regions (Aube, Marne, Meuse, etc.).
