Description
On 31 January 2012, Ricoh, provider of total document and IT solutions (e.g. printers and copy machines), announced that it will cut 140 to 150 positions. However, the company expects to redeploy 40 employees.
It is said that background is a loss of turnover due the fast growth of the market of tablet computers.
The firm discusses a social plan with the unions.
