European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Budapest Airport has notified the authorities about the dismissal of 250 employees in the next months following the closure of the MALÉV operations. The redundancies account for 20 to 25 % of the entire workforce at Budapest Airport.
The bankruptcy of the airline MALÉV affects the workload of Budapest Airport, which is reported to make an internal restructuring necessary.
