Description

According to Handelsblatt information, Swedish energy company Vattenfall will shed about a third of all posts in customer services in Germany - about 300 jobs. Management has not given precise figures or a timeline yet, but says that there will be no direct dismissals. It is reported that the company had considered to outsource the customers service entirely, but decided against it.

Job cuts will affect sites at Hamburg and Berlin, where a total of 900 are employed in private and business customer services.
