Description

Paccor Finland, a producer of plastic packing materials, has announced redundancies of 92 employees in its Hämeenlinna plant. Cuts include dismissals of permanent employees as well as expiring fixed-term contracts. The company expects to carry out dismissals in 2012 and complete other reduction measures in spring 2013.

Paccor has been building a highly automated factory in the same area. Its completion will eliminate large amounts of manual work, the company reports.
