Description
Supermarket chain Asda has announced plans to open 25 new stores and three depots, creating 5,000 jobs in 2012. New depots locations are Rochdale, Falkirk and Elmsall. In addition to the new stores 43 existing stores will be extended and refurbished.
Asda is currently the UK's second largest supermarket chain with 528 stores and 180,000 employees in the UK. Asda belongs to US multinational retailer Walmart.
