Description
Swedish oil refinery Preemraff has given redundancy notices to 130 employees at its sites in Lysekil, Göteborg and Stockholm. The restructuring is due to start in February.
The restructuring was blamed on declining demand for refined oil products. The company is expecting to carry out the restructuring through early retirements and voluntary departures.
Preem Lysekil is Scandinavia's largest refinery with a capacity to refine 11.4 million tons of crude oil and oil components per year.
