European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ceva Logistics, a logistics company, announced the dismissal of 300 employees. The company will cut 200 jobs directly and will not prolong the contracts of 100 people on temporary contracts.
The redundancies are motivated by the closure of the Nokia plant in Jucu (see here), which used to be one of the main customers of Ceva Logistics.
The company notified the County Agency for Employment Cluj about this decision.
