Description

Ministerstwo Skarbu Państwa, the Polish Ministry of Treasury, announced plans to reduce its number of employees by 14% (90 of 648 jobs) by liquidating its 13 deputations across Poland. According to the spokeswomen of the Ministry, Magdalena Kobos, the restructuring will help to save over 1.2 mln PLN.

The Ministry is to enact the law on the restructuring programme which is expected to be implemented from 1 May 2012 onwards. The programme concerns not only employment reductions, but also the acceleration of privatization of public properties and the reduction of expenses within the Ministry.
