Description

Johnson Electric, provider of motors and motion components to the automotive industry, has enlarged its factory in Ózd and announced to increase the number of employees by 600 until 2013. Hiring has already started and will be running continuously.

The company has bought a new processing hall and is rebuilding it to enlarge its capacity. This development is seen as important for the region, which has the highest unemployment rate in Hungary.

Johnson Electric employs around 40,000 people worldwide and provides its motors and motion sub-systems as well as other products to the automotive, medical and manufacturing industry amongst others. Johnson Electric has been operating in Hungary since 2004 and is registered in Hatvan, Heves county.
