Description
On 11 January 2012, Huta Szkła Szczakowa, a glass manufacturer, announced plans to shut down its factory and dismiss all 155 employees. The collective dismissals will be implemented in February and the redundancies process is expected to be concluded by late June 2012. The local labour office has been notified accordingly.
The company has been operating since 1911. Huta Szkła Szczakowa has been facing financial problems for some years.
