40 of 335 employees at Medstop Väst, a pharmacy chain, have been issued with redundancy notices. Medstop Väst is a subsidiary of the larger group Medstop, which will reduce its total workforce by 70 employees - 40 in the West region, 15 in the East region and 15 in the South region.
Negotiations with the unions about the suggested redundancies have begun. According to the company, the internal restructuring process is ascribed to the highly competitive market.
