The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The largest telephone company in the Nordic countries, Swedish based Telia, announced on 22 November 2011 that 163 employees in Telia Danmark are made redundant.
The redundancies are a consequence of a declining mobile phone market for Telia due to a price war in Denmark during 2011.
