Description
Shoe retailer Barratts Priceless announced that it had gone into administration on 22.12.2011 with the loss of 1600 jobs across the UK. The company blamed poor trading conditions that were compounded by the unseasonably mild winter.
Update 15.1.2012: A further 680 jobs have been lost within the business, as administrators concluded a deal to sell 89 stores, close 39 stores and 14 consessions.
