Description

Sea Camper (ex Elnagh), Italian maker of camper vans, is to close its plant of Trivolzio (in the province of Pavia), with the consequent loss of 130 jobs. The collective dismissals' procedures have started in December 2011.

Sea Camper belongs to the private equity Bridgepoint. According to the company, the production of camper vans will be focused in the plants located in Tuscany and Umbria.

The workers of Sea Camper reacted to the company's decision by blockading the company's gates and demanding the involvement of local authorities in order to find alternative solutions to the closure.
