European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
DFS, UK based chair and sofa retailer, has announced that it is to continue with expansion plans to create 300 jobs despite a fall in its profits. The group currently operates 82 stores and plans to open a further three by July 2012. The group also intends to create some new jobs in its manufacturing operations.
A timeline for the creation of jobs is not yet known.
