European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On the 2nd of March the management of the cheese manufacturer Entremont's site in Carhaix has announced the closure of two units with 104 job cuts to its works council. As of now there is no information of when the plant will be closed.
After the information and consultation process, the management decided to close the two units by the end of October and November respectively. The redundancies will be implemented through internal mobility, natural departures, retirements and the end of short-term employment contracts amongst others.
