European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Delivery company Yodel has announced plans to cut 140 jobs in Wales. Jobs will be affected in Cardiff, Anglesey and Carmarthenshire. These plants will be closed within the first half of 2012.
The company was formed in 2010 through an acquisition process of DHL Domestic and the cuts are therefore blamed on duplication of services in some areas. The company stated that it aims to inform staff of their options.
