Description

Japanese multinational car manufacturer Toyota has announced plans to create 1500 new jobs at the company's Derbyshire plant. Following recovery of Toyota's global production, the new jobs are essential for the manufacturing of a new model. While recruitment will begin next week, 500 people will be hired until mid-next year. The remaining 1000 jobs are to be created over the next two years.

This business expansion follows the cutting of several hundred jobs at the Derbyshire plant over the last three years. The site employs currently more than 3,100 people.
