European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The producer of wines from the Jura, Henri Maire (380 employees), will recruit 200 salesmen by the end of 2012, doubling its sales force for the commercial direct sales of its products. The company works with the public employment service "Pôle emploi" and a specialized website to recruit its salesmen.
The company Henri Maire was taken over in June 2010 by Verdoso Industries. The new owner already increased its sales workforce from 200 to 240 in one year. Henri Maire sells its wines almost exclusively through direct sales at home, and sells its products to nearly 30,000 new customers per year.
